Major Medical is currently testing for COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We are fully committed to help our community stop the spread of this virus by providing fastand efficient testing to our patients. To ensure the safety of all our patients and staff members, we are testing symptomatic patients in an isolated space outside of our office. We also decontaminate our offices on a routine basis throughout the day.

We encourage anyone visiting our offices to wear protective masks and gloves. This recommendation applies in general. the spread of COVID-19 can be reduced by protecting yourself while being outside of your home.

Testing for the COVID-19 Virus

If you suspect of being infected or exposed to the COVID-19 Virus, and would like to get tested for Coronavirus, please call our offices to make an appointment with our staff. COVID-19 lab test results are received within 72 hrs from the time the tests are collected.

Medical Clearance

Medical clearance is required by your employer if you have tested positive for COVID-19. To ensure public safety, Major Medical will only issue the Medical Clearance Letter after a second test returns negative for COVID-19.

Symptoms

Early symptoms of COVID-19 may appear 2-14 days after exposure. These symptoms can appear as;

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath

More severe symptoms will require emergency medical attention. People showing these symptoms should seek immediate medical attention, Contact your Primary care Physician prior to visiting their office, or go to the hospital.

  • Trouble Breathing
  • Persistent pain or pressure in the chest.
  • New confusion – or the inability to arouse
  • Bluish lips or face.
